This is usually the point in a detailing conversation where a fleet manager gets a bit skeptical, and honestly I do not blame them. Ceramic coating gets talked about a lot in the consumer car world, sometimes in ways that sound more like a sales pitch than an honest explanation of what the product actually does. So before I get into whether it makes sense for a commercial fleet, I want to strip out the hype and just explain what this treatment actually is, what it protects against, and where the real return on investment sits, if any.

A properly maintained coating on a fleet vehicle still meaningfully outlasts a standard wax treatment, which typically needs reapplication every few months rather than every year or more.
